SO Big, SO Fast!

As I was gathering the pictures to make several posts, I realized how old Elliott looks in every picture! So, I will combine the pictures into one post and show off how big he is getting! It's also a good time to post our milestones of the last few months.

#1-NO more diapers! As I stated in a previous post, we have graduated from diapers, and are no longer using them AT ALL--not even nighttime! He still has not had a single accident EVER!

#2-School is SO cool! He LOVES school! I think it is a combination of his best friend in his class, and his amazing teacher that made the difference! We are still on a T/Th schedule, but are hoping to switch to a 3-day schedule next year.

#3-He NEVER stops talking! We were so worried for awhile because he was not talking as much as his peers; he has definitely caught up. I can't even begin to count the # of words he is saying. He now speaks only in complete sentences, and is FUNNY! Usually when a threat is made to take away a toy, put in time out, etc., his favorite thing to say, as he is crying, is "Please don't, otherwise I will cry!". We hear this often. So, the other night I went into his room because he was acting silly in his bed when he should have been drifting off to sleep. So, I threatened him with taking his bed away and bringing the crib back in (I know, I am the meanest mom ever :) ) So, after this, he cries, and says "Please don't, otherwise I will--say 'what's the big idea!' "

#4-We have a good eater! For the most part. I can get him to eat (or at least try) 99% of his food on his plate. He is a huge meat-eater, and a decent vegetable/fruit eater.

#5-He LOVES to sing! I love this! He loves Jesus Loves Me, Jesus Loves the Little Children, and of course his all time favorite, The Wheels on the Bus.

The list could go on and on. I am LOVING every moment of the 3's so far. Because we didn't go through the terrible 2's, I was VERY worried about 3. He has definitely been testing the waters to see what he can/cannot get away with, but I still can't say that we have entered a terrible age with temper tantrums and bad behavior. If he does go through this (which I'm sure he will), I hope it is soon, so that I can have control over him--please do not let him enter this stage after as a teenager, please!

Oftentimes, he chooses his outfits. On this day, he chose his doctor's costume for a dinner at Jason's Deli.
