Swimming Lessons - Day 1

For the next 2 weeks, Elliott will be attending Schlitter-swim lessons.

We started in the beginner's class (per the director's recommendation). The beginner's class was not so basic. Within about 2 minutes of being in the water, the instructor's were asking Elliott to swim to them (about 5 feet away).

After a few minutes of tears, I convinced the director to allow us into the preschool class, which was perfect! The preschool class helps the child to feel comfortable in the water, blow bubbles, teach basic swimming techniques, etc. He did great! The only time that he was hesitant to follow directions was when the instructor would ask that he do something on his own.
