This past weekend, we packed up and headed for Port Aransas. Elliott was SO excited. I was concerned about the car-ride down, since Elliott talks NONSTOP, and we have never traveled for such a long ride--he did so great! For the most part, he played/watched movies on the iPad, something I said I would never allow him to do in the car :) A few times he asked if we were still in Texas. When we got there, he was so excited to see that Granny Bartsch, Aunt Tammy, Uncle Bob, Aunt Melanie, Uncle Tony, John, and Audrey were joining us and Grammy and Grampy. We were so fortunate to stay in a family friend's house (all 12 of us). The trip was so much fun, and something that we will all remember!
Aside from the taste of the saltwater, he loved the ocean! He loved diving into the waves.
His favorite part of the entire trip was riding on Uncle Bob's boat. He begged to go faster!

And, of course, we had to feed the seagulls.
We even got to go on an awesome golf buggy around the island.
