Update-School

We have survived the first week!

Our first day of school was not too bad. The report from the teacher was that Elliott did great, but cried throughout the day asking for me (it makes me a little happy in an awful way). At one point, he was inconsolable. The teacher said that he cried a good 20 minutes. He took a 7 minute nap, and was resting well when I picked him up. The only thing he said on the car ride home was that he did not want to go back :(

I was surprised the next day when he told me he wanted to go to school "right now." Whohoo!

This morning, we got there late--had to take him to the doctor because of an awful cough--turned out to be allergies. He was so excited on the car ride there! Again, when he walked into the classroom, I was completely ignored. When I picked him up, I walked in the door to the school to see the director holding and trying to calm him down. When I asked why he was crying he said that he did not know where I was.

At this point, I can only hope that each day will get better :)
